Seams B1 and A2 — correlation and interpretation
The B1–A2 comparison shows two thick coal packages separated by a heterolithic interval that includes the Suban marker. B1 carries thin clay partings; A2 is approximately 12–15 m thick and includes clay bands or partings about 2–15 cm.

Geological interpretation and evidential boundary
The B1–A2 comparison shows two thick coal packages separated by a heterolithic interval that includes the Suban marker. B1 carries thin clay partings; A2 is approximately 12–15 m thick and includes clay bands or partings about 2–15 cm. The marker improves practical correlation, yet its time significance is untested. The page therefore supports a repeatable local stacking pattern while leaving open whether thickness variation is depositional, erosional, structural or partly an artefact of sparse borehole interpolation.
